Miriam -- I encourage you to come back to the forum and really focus in on the question of what you might achieve if the restrictions weren't there. I know you'll have something great to add to that question.

I was born in Mexico City, Mexico. Spanish is my first language, I will be first generation to college, I attend a charter school called "Salt Lake City Center for Science Education. Yet, I play for West High School on their Girls Freshmen and Sophomore team. I played in an all youth Mariachi band, I like cooking and playing sports. My definition of student achievement is still being constructed because i have just started high school. Nonetheless, i see the importance of how the achievement/success thinking pushes me and my peers to sometimes not do what we love.
